What is alopecia?
Alopecia is a term for hair loss. Alopecia areata is one form of alopecia: an autoimmune condition that can cause patchy hair loss. There are other causes and forms of hair loss, and the course varies from person to person. A healthcare professional can advise you on diagnosis and medical treatment; we focus on wig selection and fit.
Which wig is right for hair loss?
Our 5x5 Alopecia Cap wigs have silicone strips along the sides, which may provide extra grip when you have little or no natural hair. Our 13x6 Lace Front wigs have a larger lace area at the front, offering flexible options for parting and styling. Both constructions can be worn with or without hair loss. The right choice depends on your individual comfort and preferences.
Do you have a municipal grant or hospital voucher?
