The right cap size can make your wig feel more comfortable and look more natural. Before choosing a wig, use a flexible measuring tape and take your measurements close to your head without pulling the tape tight. For accurate results, measure twice.

Six measurements for finding your wig size

  1. Head circumference: Measure around your head, beginning at your front hairline, passing behind your ears and around the back of your head.
  2. Front to nape: Measure over the top of your head from the front hairline to the hairline at the nape of your neck.
  3. Ear to ear across the forehead: Measure across the front of your head from the area just in front of one ear to the other.
  4. Ear to ear over the crown: Measure from one side to the other over the highest point of your head.
  5. Temple to temple around the back: Measure from one temple around the back of your head to the other temple.
  6. Nape width: Measure the width of your natural hairline at the nape, where the back edge of the wig will sit.

Helpful tip: When taking the nape measurement, follow the natural indentation at the back hairline. This helps you measure where the wig's edge will actually sit.

Check the cap size chart below. The chart shows measurements in centimetres (cm). The best size can also depend on cap construction and head shape. If you fall between sizes, please ask for advice rather than automatically selecting a larger one.
